About our apartment
PAUSE is a luxurious and luminous decorated design appartement at Oosteroever Oostende. Just step out of the appartement on a big open terrace of 50 sqm with the sun welcoming you in the morning and saying goodbye in the evening. This apartment is located only 150 meters from the beach. Where you can enjoy your daily walks along the shore. Unlike the rest of the Belgian coastline there are only dunes and no buildings along the dike. This area is a very quiet spot with no mass tourism. Being a bit more sportive? Surf the best waves in Belgium or hire a sailing boat in the beach club. Whenever bars are open again you will enjoy one of the beach bars before going back to you holiday apartment. The apartment is 80 sqm with 2 bedrooms for 6 people. The area is in full development, so there can be some nuisance from construction works. But in the three years nobody made a complaint about this. But ask us if you are not sure. The founders of Rewind Design created this place with carefully sustainable chosen products. The bedrooms are designed by Komaan Architecten and executed by ZoZ / Jasper Thienpont.

What Makes Oosteroever Special?
Creative mix of new and old harbor
This newly developed area welcomes cool shops, catering, food and drinks. But it also is the home of the fisher boats coming in and going out. You can see them working their boats and preparing for the next run.
Design
This part is newly developed and feels like a real city, but calmer. Nonetheless you can find the festival Citylights in this part of Ostende. A very know street art festival. And culture is not far away. Only a 5 min ferry ride away. The city of Ostend is a vibrant city with a lot of cultural festivals like the film and theatre festival to name the most famous.
Beach and surroundings
This area of Ostend is the calm area. You will find more tranquility and peace on the beach. The dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. Also in summertime the beach is not crowded, so you can enjoy a peaceful beach experience.

Een zalig appartement. Alles is heel netjes en er is alles wat we nodig hebben. Gooi de ramen open en het is puur genieten. Van de werken waarover de eigenaars heel eerlijk waren , niet veel last van gehad.
